I lead creative work, and I still make it myself. The belief underneath both: creative work should be both beautiful and accountable.
Today, I lead a creative function of more than 30 people across two locations. In two years, its output rose 528%, and the creative bar rose with it, because I treat design as an accountable operation rather than a service that waits to be asked.

I came to leadership through the craft, not around it. I paint, I illustrate, and I design identities by hand, and the instinct of someone who still does the work is what I bring to leading the people who do it.
Before this, I was Creative Director for a national diplomatic mission abroad, where the work was to carry a country's image and its relationships to another nation's public. Earlier, I led brand and channel work for an enterprise technology firm partnered with Apple, Microsoft, HP, and AWS.
I am completing a dual MBA and MA in Design Leadership at Johns Hopkins University and Maryland Institute College of Arts, with executive education from Oxford, LSE, and Harvard.
